Lazy Sunday

One of the highlights of the holiday season for us was Lazy Sunday. If you enjoy comedy and/or gangster rap you will surely love it. It's probably the best song ever. We were so inspired, we performed it live for a select audience. Luckily, the number of musical geniuses in the family is high so the performance turned out well. It was my first musical performance since fifth grade. (I'm definitely not in the previously mentioned musical genius category.)

I'm in awe of Nate and Nicole, who heard the song and were able to play it on guitar and piano instantly. Genevieve was on pen sticks and back-up vocals. Matty and I were on lead vocals.

So many lines are classic, but my favorite is "you can call us Aaron Burr by the way we're dropping Hamiltons." Incidentally, we saw the Chronic (what) Cles of Narnia. We all gave it a pretty good rating for the skillfully done talking animals.

On the movie topic, the best one we saw while in the land of movie theaters was Syriana. It's a screenplay adapted from a retired CIA guy's book called See No Evil.
