Tasty Vittles!

So it's 5:00 and you're home from work and ready for something exciting to eat? No problem here in Bethel. From the Shogun Restaurant (which has a fine selection of Japanese, Chinese, American and Pizza) to the Front Street Cafe (with a fine selection of Chinese, Italian, American, Pizza, Seafood or Steak) to the only appearance of corporate America in Bethel....Subway.....pretty much all food genres are covered here. Note the dog yard behind the Shogun restaurant. We live right next to Sticky Fingers which reportedly is open 24 hours. We're thinking about trying to order Thai food at 3 AM sometime, but have yet to actually stay awake past midnight or so. Actually, we've only eaten out on one occasion for dinner and had breakfast with the judges at the airport twice. There's just too much tasty salmon to need to eat out. There's another restaurant called D'metris which some say is the best restaurant in town (I think serves Greek and Italian). We just learned the other night that the owner previously had a different location, but lost the restaurant in a high stakes poker game. We had a poker party at our house on Saturday...but the stakes were nickels. We heard big stories about the other games in town, though. I guess people need to spend all their money somewhere!
