Halloween

Halloween in Bethel! We celebrated this with a first for Dawson--a couples Halloween baby shower. He's just happy he made it out alive. The present opening was a bit too much for him, but the rest (tasty food and costumes) was quite entertaining. We were supposed to go to 2 parties, so we left the baby shower one at about 10:30 and went to the next one at the Jesuit Volunteer house. However, it was deserted when we arrived...though it looked quite ready for a party. But I guess it didn't get going until about midnight and kept going until quite late in the evening. We're getting too old to party in Bethel! A fun night anyway. People really go all out on costumes here. We went as Mr. and Mrs. Frankenstein, though our costumes weren't very conducive for drinking or chatting!
