Mt. Augustine

Our very own Alaskan volcano has been erupting a lot lately. The Homer court was closed on Friday just to be safe. I tried to get the Bethel court to close in the name of safety as well, but since we're more than 200 miles upwind of the volcano, my argument didn't carry the day. But check out this awesome website if you want to learn about the volcano and see lots of great pictures. Now, if not for that pesky eruption, wouldn't that be an excellent hill to snowboard?
