Happy Easter!

The Williams family Easter tradition lives on. I guess it is now technically a Wilco family tradition. After a three year hiatus, we managed to get it going again, thanks to Josh and his generous nature. The traditional bonfire and easter egg hunt were scrapped on account of the blizzard conditions, but the guns and ammo were in full effect.

We piled on the snowmachines, rode out of town a little bit, and found a nice place to set up targets. Here’s Josh, explaining how his 30.06 works and his Alaskan Backpacker, a .44 magnum. And here’s Genevieve shooting it like a pro. He also shared his shotgun and his 45-70, which is a replica of the classic old west John Wayne style rifle and pretty fun to shoot.

It was awesome! My ears are still ringing.

And to make the day complete, for lunch we had my all time favorite breakfast, grits and eggs (and bacon and cheese and tomato). And during our mellow post-grits afternoon, we read Peter Rabbit to little Revel Racecardriver Finneapolis Wilco. He or she loved it.
