Peace and Love

Today we celebrate the life of Martin Luther King, Jr. He's definitely a hero and an inspiration. While he's often portrayed as very somber, I find pictures of him smiling more inspirational. If you haven't read it, I'd highly recommend his autobiography. It's awesome on audio, because large portions of it are recordings of his speeches. Democracy Now played excertps of several of his speeches today. His speech, Beyond Vietnam, is amazingly relevant today given our country's current wars. It is moving, to say the least. If I had a top ten list of speeches, it would be number one. If you have time, check it out. It will inspire you.
