Even more brrrr...

Now it's -24, windchill -45... great weather for a 300 mile outdoor race! For entertainment tonight, we did the trick where you boil a pot of water and toss it in the air. It disappears in a huge puff of smoke and blows away, with not a drop hitting the ground. Well, that's a small exaggeration, but mostly true.

In other exciting news, our neighbor is hosting a dog musher and dog team, so we have about 20 neighbors. We were pretty excited about the new neighbors until last night at around 11:30, 1:30, 2:30, 3:00, 3:20, 4:00, 4:25 and 5:00 when the dogs urgently needed to communicate. But they are pretty cute, so I hope they win despite the sleep deprivation they've let us enjoy.

And in other exciting news, I have now married two young people. Not southern Utah style. It was fun to be involved in the rare occasion where both parties are happy and excited about being in court. And it was fun to don the black robe. Hooray and congrats to Joe Atchak and Carey Gusty! Here's wishing them the happiest of life partnerships!
